Brazil ANATEL is a mandatory certification for Brazilian wireless communication products to enter the Brazilian market. Applicants must be local companies in Brazil and samples must be sent to Brazil for testing. The validity period of the certificate varies according to the product:
Category I-1 year 2G/3G and other products (mobile phone battery/adapter)
Category II-2 years WIFI/BT and other products
Category III - Permanent Switch, etc
Certificate issuing cycle: 8-10 weeks (not including express delivery time)
